For the last four years we have been working on different projects in Uruguay. In 2015 we became even more present by creating a new company in this country with the aim to reply to our Customers needs with the best possible quality.
Currently we are facing a high demanding project called La Florida II which not only comprises our supply of transport, crane and installation services but also the management of port services at the Port of Destiny.
We will execute this interesting project for our Customer Vestas who has decided, based on his client’s needs, to install the new turbine type V117 3.3MW 116.5hh with blades of 57 meters. These blades involve a fairly complexity performance of the transport and installation service.
The best available conditions have to be provided for a positive execution of the project. For this reason two main cranes type Liebherr LR1750 haven been exclusively imported to Uruguay. Such cranes demonstrate a high capacity within the wind energy field.
This month the project has been affected by one of the largest floods ever experienced in Uruguay. We have put all our best efforts to affront this difficult situation and have finally been able to continue with our works. Our aim is to continue with this working pace and achieve a successful completion of this high demanding project.
